Children’s folklore ensemble “Zdravinka”
Children’s folklore ensemble “Zdravinka” was founded in September 2007. There are two groups in the team: the youngest and the oldest. The youngest participant is 4 years old, but the oldest is 18 years old. The ensemble’s repertoire includes Russian folklore songs and Russian folk song arrangements.
The ensemble “Zdravinka” often performs in Rezekne, Ludza and Kārsava nursing homes. Twice a year attends Malta boarding school with Easter and Christmas concerts. The ensemble has participated in festivals in Lithuania (Visaginas), Poland (Suwalki), Pskov – International Festival of Young Performers “At Lukomorye”, (soloists – Marianna Grebenjuka and Viktorija Graholska).
In 2013, “Zdravinka” received the 1st degree diploma of the Latvian Song and Dance Festival, performed in the Vērmane Garden in Riga, as well as the soloist Marianna Grebenjuka (1st degree diploma of the Latvian Song and Dance Festival) sang in Berga Bazaar Square.
Every year the ensemble participates in the competition “Tatiana’s Day”, where it received 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree diplomas, in the international festival “Gosti” in 2014, as well as in previous festivals, which took place in Rezekne, the international festival “Multicultural Pärnu” in Estonia (2015), 1st degree in the international competition “BalticTalats” (Riga – Stockholm, 2015). Ensemble participated more than once in various concerts at the Latgale Embassy GORS, the Culture House of Rezekne National Societies, Rezekne Culture and Recreation Park (Meteni, meeting with Father Frost from Velikij Ustjug, Child Protection Day).
